Remo-Zen M 1000 Tablets

Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet is prescribed for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar levels) in adult patients above 18 years of age.


Remo-Zen M 1000 Tablet Composition :-

Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet combination of two oral antidiabetic drugs :


Remogliflozin Etabonate ....................... 100 mg

Metformin Hydrochloride ..................... 1000 mg


Remogliflozin Etabonate is a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (sglt2) inhibitors, a class of oral hypoglycaemic agents.

Metformin hydrochloride is an antidiabetic medicine belonging to a class of drugs called biguanide.


Remo-Zen M 1000 Tablet Uses :-


Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet is a combination of a two antidiabetic drugs, used to control type 2 diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar levels) in adult patients above 18 years of age.
When diet, exercise, single combination drug are not effective in controlling blood glucose levels, then combination drugs are used.
When Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet is used along with a healthy diet and exercise, it helps a lot in controlling blood sugar.


Remo-Zen M 1000 Tablet Dosage :-

Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet is a prescription medicine. Take Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet as directed by your doctor. Use Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet exactly as directed by the doctor. Do not take a higher or lower dose than directed by your doctor. 

Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet should be taken immediately before or with a meal. Never self-medicate or change the dosage without a doctor's advice.
Do not take 2 or more doses at the same time.
Always try to take Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet on regular schedule. Always take the tablet even if you feel well or your blood sugar level is under control. Do not stop taking without your doctor's advice. Otherwise, your blood sugar level may rise again. Do not stop taking Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet without asking your doctor. Because the treatment of diabetes is lifelong.


How Does Remo-Zen M 1000 Tablet Work :-


Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet combination of two antidiabetic drugs : Remogliflozin Etabonate & Metformin Hydrochloride

Remogliflozin Etabonate :

Remogliflozin etabonate is a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (sglt2) inhibitor, a class of oral hypoglycaemic agents.

Remogliflozin Etabonate reduces excess sugar from your body through urine.
Remogliflozin Etabonate reduce the amount of glucose in the blood. Remogliflozin etabonate works by controlling the level of sugar in blood and help in reducing the level of blood sugar.

Metformin Hydrochloride :

Metformin hydrochloride is an antidiabetic drugs belonging to a class of drugs called biguanideMetformin delays the absorption of glucose from the intestines, by reducing the production of glucose in the liver. And thus metformin works by increasing the sensitivity of the body to insulin.

Thus Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet works by controlling the level of sugar in the blood.

Like all medicines, Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.

Some common side-effects of Remogliflozin etabonate -

Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia),

Urinary tract infections,

Nervousness or anxiety,

Irritability to sweat,

Weight loss,

Dizziness or headache,

Fatigue or fatigue genital fungal infection

Feeling hungry and many other side effects can occur.


Some common side-effects of Metformin hydrochloride -

Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia),

Nausea,

Vomiting,

Change in taste,

Diarrhea,

Stomach ache,

Stomach enlargement,

Loss of appetite and many other side effects can occur.

Some Precautions for Metformin hydrochloride -

Pregnancy : Safe

Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet is safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown no or no adverse effects on the developing baby.


Breastfeeding : Safe

Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that Remo-Zen M 1000 does not represent any risk to the baby.


Driving : Caution

Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is too high or low during treatment with Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet. Do not drive if you have these symptoms.


Kidney : Caution

Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet may be needed. Consult your doctor for this. Use of Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet is generally not advised in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is advised while you are taking Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet.


Liver : Caution

Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet may be needed. Consult your doctor for this. Low dose of Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet is generally started in patients with mild liver disease and use of Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.


Alcohol : Unsafe

It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet. Therefore, do not consume alcohol after taking Remo-Zen M 1000 tablet.
