Paracetamol is prescribed for the treatment of feverheadache, backache, musculoskeletal pain, toothache, nerve pain, etc.

Paracetamol Uses :-

Paracetamol is a analgesics or antipyretics. Paracetamol is used for the treatment of fever, and also provides relief from headache, backache, musculoskeletal pain, toothache, nerve pain, etc. associated with/without fever.
Paracetamol works by decreasing the intensity of pain signals to the brain. Paracetamol inhibits the release of prostaglandins, which cause pain, and an increase in body temperature.

Paracetamol Dosage :-

Paracetamol is a prescription medicine, and should be take as directed by your doctor.
Paracetamol should be taken with food.
Your doctor will suggest you on how frequently you take your tablets based on your medical condition. 
You should take it daily as suggested by your doctor.
Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than prescribed by your doctor.

Paracetamol Side-effects :-

Like all medicines, Paracetamol can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects. Some side-effect of Paracetamol : 
• Nausea,
• Vomiting,
• Stomach pain,
• Diarrhea,
All these are not the possible side effects of Paracetamol.
Most of these side effects are short term and get resolved with time. Although, if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get poor, take a doctor's consultation as soon as possible.

Precautions & Warnings :-

• Paracetamol use is not recommended for long-term use that results in kidney damage due to the pain killers.
• Paracetamol is not suggested for use if you have severe liver problems. Paracetamol can further damage your liver and worsen your condition. 
• Paracetamol interaction with other medicine such as: Carbamazepine, Leflunomide and Phenytoin, etc.
• Consumption of Paracetamol along with alcohol is not advised as it may cause liver damage. If you experience any symptoms of liver injury like fever, vomiting, fatigue, dark urine, rash, nausea, jaundice, etc, consult your doctor immediately.
• Ask your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or are breastfeeding before taking Paracetamol.
