Vortioxetine should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Vortioxetine are intended for oral administration.

Take vortioxetine at around the regular time every day.

This multimodal activity is regard responsible for the antidepressant and anxiolytic-like effects and the improvement of cognitive function, learning and memory observed with vortioxetine in animal studies. However, the exact contribution of the individual targets to the observed pharmacodynamic profile remains unclear and caution should be applied when extrapolating animal data directly to man.

Precautions & Warnings :-

• You must know that vortioxetine can affect your judgment, thinking, and movements. Do must not drive a car or operate machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
• Consult your doctor about the safe use of alcoholic beverages while you are taking vortioxetine.
• You should know that vortioxetine can give rise to angle-closure glaucoma (a condition where the fluid is suddenly obstructed and unable to flow out of the eye causing a quick, critical increase in eye pressure which can cause a loss of vision). Talk to your doctor about having an eye test before you start taking this medication. If you have nausea, eye pain, changes in vision, like seeing colored rings around lights, and swelling or redness in or around the eye, call your doctor or get immediate medical treatment right away.
