Migraines :-

Migraines are a recurring type of headache. They lead to common to critical pain that is throbbing or pulsing. The pain is frequently on one side of your head. You cay also have other symptoms, like nausea and weakness. You can be sensitive to light and sound.

• Medication overuse (taking medicine for migraines too Frequently).

Some people have found that certain foods or ingredients can activate headaches, mostly when they are mixed with other activaters. These foods and ingredients involve :
• Alcohol,
• Chocolate,
• Aged cheeses,
• Monosodium glutamate (MSG),
• Some fruits and nuts,
• Fermented or pickled goods,
• Yeast,
• Cured or processed meats.

Risk for Migraines :-

About 12% of Americans have migraines. They can affect anyone, but you are more frequent to have them if you:
• Are a woman -
Women are three times more probablely than men to get migraines.
• Have a history of family for migraines -
Havin family members who have migraines then you may also have migraines.
• Having any other medical conditions, like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, sleep disorders, and epilepsy.

Migraines Symptoms :-

There are four non-identical  phases of migraines. You can not always go from every phase each time you have a migraine:
• Prodome -
This phase begins up to 24 hours before you get the migraine. You have early signs and symptoms, like as food cravings, unexplained mood changes, uncontrollable yawning, fluid retention, and increase number of urination.
• Aura -
If you have this phase, you may see flashing or bright lights or zig-zag lines. You can have muscle weakness or feel like you are touched or grabbed by someone. An aura can take place before or during a migraine.
• Headache -
A migraine commonly starts slowly and then becomes more crucial. It normally causes throbbing or pulsing pain, which is frequent on one side of your head. But some of the times you can have a migraine without any headache. Other migraine symptoms may include-
Increased sensitivity to light, noise, and odors,
Nausea and vomiting,
Pain is worsened when you move, cough, or sneeze.
• Postdrome -
(following the headache). You may feel weary, weak, and confused after a migraine. This can stay up to a day.
Migraines are more usual in the morning people frequently wake up with them. Some people have migraines at expected times, like before menstruation or on weekends following a stressful week of work.
Diagnosis of migraines.
To make a diagnosis, your health care team will:
• Ask your medical history,
• Ask about your symptoms,
• Perform a physical and neurological test.
An main part of diagnosing migraines is to rule out other medical conditions which can be causing the symptoms. So you can also have blood tests, an MRI or CT scan, or other tests.

Migraines Treatment :-

There is no prevent for migraines. Treatment focuses on reducing  symptoms and preventing additional attacks.
There are different types of medicines to relief symptoms. They are triptan drugs, ergotamine drugs, and pain relievers. The sooner you take the medicine, the more helpfull it is.
There are other things you can do to feel better:
• Resting with your eyes closed in a silent, darkened room,
• Keeping a cool cloth or ice pack on your forehead,
• Drinking fluids
Some of the lifestyle changes you can make to cure migraines:
Stress management strategies, like exercising, relaxation techniques, and biofeedback, may lesser the number and seriouness of migraines. Biofeedback uses electronic devices to teach you to manage certain body functions, like your heartbeat, blood pressure, and muscle tension.
Make a log of what seems to activate your migraines. You can learn a medicines. It also help you find out what you should do, like establishing a consistent sleep timetable and eating regular meals.
Hormone therapy may help some women whose migraines appear to be associated to their menstrual cycle
If you have obesity, losing weight can be helpful.
If you have often or critical migraines, you can need to take medicines to cure further attacks. Talk with your health care team about which drug would be better for you.
Certain natural treatments, such as riboflavin (vitamin B2) and coenzyme Q10, can help cure migraines. If magnesium level is lower, you can try taking magnesium. There is also an herb, butterbur, which some people take to cure migraines. But butterbur can not be safe for long-term use. Always consult to your health care team before taking any medicines.
