Zuviston Tablet is used used to treat disorders related to female reproductive cycle, irregular menstruation, infertility and uterine bleeding.

Zuviston Tablet Composition :-

Zuviston Tablet consists of : Dydrogesterone 10mg.
Dydrogesterone is a synthetic form of the female hormone progesterone.

Zuviston Tablet Uses :-

Zuviston Tablet is used in the treatment of absence of periods, pain during periods and irregular cycles.
- Zuviston Tablet is used in the treatment of endometriosis.
- Zuviston Tablet is used in the treatment of premenstrual syndrome and irregular uterine bleeding.
- Zuviston Tablet is also used in abortion and infertility.
- Zuviston Tablet is also used as a hormone replacement therapy in postmenopausal women.

Zuviston Tablet Dosage :-

Zuviston Tablet should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Zuviston Tablet are intended for oral administration.
Zuviston Tablet should be swallowed with a glass of water with or without food.
If the patient has to take more than one tablet a day, they should equally take one tablet in the morning and one in the evening.
Zuviston Tablet should be taken at a fixed time every day. So that the amount of Zuviston Tablet remains constant in the body.

Zuviston Tablet Side-effects :-

Like all medicines, Zuviston Tablet can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
• Headache,
• Nausea,
• Migraines,
• Menstrual disorders,
Most of these side effects are short term and get resolved with time. Although, if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get poor, take a doctor's consultation as soon as possible.

Precautions & Warnings :-

• Zuviston Tablet should not be used if you are allergic to dydrogesterone or any of the other ingredients of Zuviston Tablet.
• Zuviston Tablet should not be used if you have a known or suspected history of tumors such as meningioma.
• Zuviston Tablet should not be used if you have a problem with vaginal bleeding for which the cause is not known.
• Before starting treatment with Zuviston Tablet, you should identify the cause of abnormal uterine bleeding.
• Zuviston Tablet may cause bleeding and spotting in the initial days of treatment. If this continues, the doctor should be told.
• Before starting treatment with Zuviston Tablet, you should inform doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• If you have liver disease or a history of liver disease. You should tell your doctor before starting treatment with Zuviston Tablet.
• Zuviston Tablet should be taken at regular time.
