Zita Plus R Tablet

Zita Plus R tablet is prescribed to control high blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus for adult patients above 18 years of age.


Zita Plus R Tablet Composition :-


Zita Plus R Tablet is a combination of two oral anti-hyperglycemic drugs.

Remogliflozin Etabonate ................ 100mg
Teneligliptin .......................................   10mg

Remogliflozin etabonate is a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (sglt2) inhibitors, a class of oral hypoglycaemic agents. 

Teneligliptin is an dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4) inhibitors class antidiabetic drugs.


Zita Plus R Tablet Uses :-


Zita Plus R tablet is an antidiabetic drugs, used to control type 2 diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar levels) in adult patients above 18 years of age.
Zita Plus R tablet can be used alone or in combination with other antidiabetic drugs.
When Zita Plus R tablet is used along with a healthy diet and exercise, it helps a lot in controlling blood sugar.


Zita Plus R Tablet Dosage :-


Zita Plus R tablet is a prescription medicine. Take Zita Plus R tablet as directed by your doctor.

Use Zita Plus R tablet exactly as directed by the doctor. Do not take a higher or lower dose than directed by your doctor. 

Zita Plus R tablet should be taken immediately before or with a meal. Never self-medicate or change the dosage without a doctor's advice.
Do not take 2 or more doses at the same time.
Always try to take Zita Plus R tablet on regular schedule. Always take the tablet even if you feel well or your blood sugar level is under control. Do not stop taking without your doctor's advice. Otherwise, your blood sugar level may rise again. Do not stop taking Zita Plus R tablet without asking your doctor. Because the treatment of diabetes is lifelong.


How Does Zita Plus R Tablet Work :-


Zita Plus R Tablet combination of two antidiabetic Drugs : Remogliflozin Etabonate & Teneligliptin fixed dose Combination.

When single combination drugs are ineffective in controlling blood glucose levels, than combination drugs are used.
These combination drugs then help to work by different mechanisms to provide better control of blood sugar.

Remogliflozin etabonate :

Remogliflozin etabonate is a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (sglt2) inhibitor, a class of oral hypoglycaemic agents.

Remogliflozin Etabonate reduces excess sugar from your body through urine.
Remogliflozin Etabonate reduce the amount of glucose in the blood. Remogliflozin etabonate works by controlling the level of sugar in blood and help in reducing the level of blood sugar.


Teneligliptin :

Teneligliptin is an dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4) inhibitors class antidiabetic drugs. Teneligliptin works by increasing the amount of insulin produced by pancreas. Teneligliptin works by decreasing the hormones that raise blood sugar levels in the pancreas. Teneligliptin lowers your blood sugar leveland controls the amount of glucose in the blood.

Thus Zita Plus R Tablet works by controlling the level of sugar in the blood.


Zita Plus R Tablet Sideeffects :-


Like all medicines, Zita Plus R Tablet can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.

Some common side effects of Remogliflozin Etabonate :

Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia),

Urinary tract infections,

Nervousness or anxiety,

Irritability to sweat,

Weight loss,

Dizziness or headache,

Fatigue or fatigue genital fungal infection

Feeling hungry and many other side effects can occur.
